Ashray Akruti celebrated 75 th anniversary of Independence Day Azadi ka Amrit
mahotsav with great pride and enthusiasm at Satya Sai Nigamagamam. The event
was graced by Mr. Prasad Annadanam from Verizon as the chief guest along with
Mr. Sreemannarayana Kadali from Super gas foundation, Mr. Nitin sharma from
Qualcomm, Dr. Bhavani, Mr. Eesh Dev Varma from Ashland, Mr. Vivekanandhan
somalingam from Cochlear, Mr. Rama Rao Auditor, Mr. D.P.K. Babu founder and
director of Ashray Akruti and Ms. Shashikala academic director of Ashray Akruti as
the guests of honor. All the students, staff, alumni and parents of Ashray Akruti
participated in the event. The event started with garlanding the photo of
Mahatma Gandhi father of our nation followed by flag hoisting by the chief guest.
The students of Ashray Akruti participated in various cultural activities like song,
fancy dress show, rhymes, dance, skit, mime and speeches. All the cultural
activities portrayed patriotism towards our nation India.
