Ashray Akruti proudly commemorated India’s 78th Independence Day with a day filled with patriotism, inclusivity, and community spirit. The event was graced by our distinguished Chief Guest Mr. Anand Rajurkar, Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm, Special Guest Mr. Sandeep Kapur, CEO of The HANS Foundation, Guests of Honour : Mr. Nitin Sharma, Senior Director of Technology and Patent Counsel at Qualcomm, Dr. Janardhan Rao Jagini, M.B.B.S., M.S., D.N.B, HOD & Consultant ENT, KIMS Hospital, Dr. Vishnu Swaroop Reddy, Clinical Director, Head of the Dept & Chief Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon, CARE Hospital, Mr. Harish Kumar Sirapu, Hyderabad CCC Chair Person State Street, India, and Mr. D.P.K. Babu, Founder & Director of Ashray Akruti.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a series of engaging activities that highlighted our commitment to the theme of “Freedom of Communication.” A special balloon release symbolised breaking free from societal biases and embracing diverse methods of communication.
One of the key highlights was the launch of our new Ear and Hearing Care booklet in both English and Telugu, aimed at raising awareness and promoting ear health across communities. The event also featured the distribution of hearing aids and cochlear implant processors, showcasing our ongoing efforts to empower individuals with hearing impairments.
Cultural performances by our talented students and staff added a joyful touch to the occasion, while heartfelt speeches from our guests inspired us to continue our mission of creating an inclusive and empowered society.
