Ashray Akruti proudly hosted World Hearing Day 2025 on 3rd March at KLN Prasad Auditorium, Lakdikapul, embracing the WHO Theme: “Changing Mindsets: Empower Yourself to Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All!”

We were honoured to welcome our Chief Guest, Dr. Soumya Mishra, IPS, Director General, Prisons & Correctional Services, Telangana, along with our esteemed Guests of Honour:

The event witnessed an incredible participation of over 500 attendees, including students, parents, medical professionals, CSR partners, volunteers and well-wishers, all coming together to celebrate the power of hearing and inclusivity.

A highlight of the day was the inspiring testimonials from Cochlear Implant recipients, where children who underwent Cochlear Implant surgery and Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) confidently spoke, showcasing their improved speech and the transformative impact of hearing technology.

As part of the celebrations, Cochlear Implant Processors and Hearing Aids were distributed along with AVT Kits presentation by Cochlear Medical Devices Company Pvt Ltd., empowering children with the gift of sound. A special felicitation ceremony honoured ENT Doctors, Managers, Audiologists and Speech Therapists for their remarkable contributions to hearing healthcare.
