In a view to empower the students to discover practical knowledge, Ashray Akruti has taken its students on an educational trip to farms located at Kowkuntla village, Chevella mandal of Andhra Pradesh on 7th January, 2023. Students were introduced to Agriculture farming systems and activities such as Ploughing, Harvesting, Transplantation, Drip Irrigation, Hydroponics, etc. Students voluntarily engaged in farm activities and understood the process. Students acquired knowledge on the various crops grown in the area along with Pest management system. They were even interested to feed the animals. The main aim of the trip is to impart students to understand and appreciate the food we eat. The students were ecstatic about their trip. Around 40 students along with 9 staff members visited the farm from Ashray Akruti School for Hearing Impairment located at Chandrayangutta location.
