Ashray Akruti hosts IPS officer trainees from National Police Academy

Ashray Akruti, an NGO working for ear, hearing care and persons with disabilities since 1996, was honored with the visit of IPS Probationers of 68th RR- 2015 batch visited Ashray Akruti Special School for Hearing Impaired, Srinagar Colony. The visit was as part of the sensitization programme towards the weaker sections. There were almost 35 IPS officer trainees who visited the School along withMr. DC Dabur, Senior faculty, Police Academy.
The officers were keen to know about the unique Aural Oral Method of teaching of Ashray Akruti and various other projects which the organization is implementing for the weaker sections of the society. They took their valuable time to spent with the hearing impaired children and indulged in visiting School classrooms and Multimedia and Animation Training Unit for hearing impaired youth by Ashray Akruti.
Mr. D.P.K. Babu, Director, Ashray Akruti, Ms. Devaki Kumar, Manager- Communication and Operations, Ms. Deepta, HR-Ashray Akruti, Ms. Shashikala, Principal, Ashray Akruti High School for Hearing Impaired was present during the event.
